From building skyscrapers to urban farms
Nicholas is an entrepreneur in the Toronto area who found a love for regenerative agriculture in 2019 after a near-death health scare. With no access to traditional land or inherited farms, he set out to find opportunities to grow food in the middle of the city to help heal his own body. In 2019, he started growing microgreens for himself, then friends and family and then eventually chefs in the community. By 2025 after 10 years in the construction industry managing the developments of sub-divisions, and homes for multiple developers, Nicholas took a jump into the entrepreneurial world and used those construction project management skills to start and manage his own farm.
He is know for his attention detail and craft for growing microgreens, herbs and edible flowers. He loves mentoring students and junior farmers in the community to help create food sustainability in the city of Burlington, ON.
Nicholas graduated from George Brown College in Construction Management with an Honours Bachelors Degree and in Construction Engineering with a diploma.
